 Telugu actress, Saira Banu has been arrested for prostitution. According to reports Saira Banu along with seven others were caught with their customers in the high class locality Kundan Bagh.

The Commissioner's task forced reportedly raided the apartment where the prostitution was taking place early Monday morning after being given specific information.

According to the Post Chronicle Saira Banu played a role in Telugu films, in which she is best known for. Commissioner of Police AK Khan revealed that over the past few days there had a watch on over 50 suspects of drug consumption that included these actresses as well.

According to Real Bollywood The police have not revealed the identities of the others arrested. However, sources have not ruled out involvement of some rich and famous individuals.

The actresses who have been released claim they were not involved with the sex scandal. This is not the first time that a Telugu film actress has been arrested for prostitution. In 2009, actress Seema was arrested during a raid.
